This is to all the guys out there who have had a girlfriend. Have you ever noticed how seemingly no matter what you say, the girl rarely trusts you when you say she looks good? I am sure a number of you have been sincere when you said it, and of course she didn’t believe you. Personally I think a girl looks her best when she usually thinks she looks her worst, and I’ve heard a lot of people agree with me. So anyways I was talking with a female friend of mine about this and here’s the theory she has that she gave me. She thinks that girls dress up and freak out about their looks not for the guys, but for the other girls. So I got to thinking about this and I realized, what if she’s right? Love to hear back from people about what they think about this theory.

Interesting…Most girls are competitive in nature with other girls. You see many examples of this when one girl often comments on another girls attire. Like Jeff Foxworthy would say, “You’ll never see another man say, Bob I can’t believe Tim would wear those jeans.” Girls dress up for three reasons IMO (in order).
1.) Like you stated, to show off to other girls
2.) For themselves because they like to look nice
3.) For there man/boyfriend
Either way, men in general can put up with this so long as the girl looks good. Then again, we can put up with a lot if they look good.
